What we offer

CCI is excited to present a variety of unique STA Programs, all offered by qualified and experienced staff dedicated to ensuring the most valuable and exceptional experience for participants attending. Each program is designed to focus on and cater to particular capacity-building skills, interests and participants’ NDIS goals:

Life Skills Development:

CCI is a strong advocate for participants having the opportunity to access services that promote, encourage and enhance skills development and training in all areas of daily life tasks and responsibilities. We value individualised goals that centre around working towards building confidence and skills in such areas of daily living, including:

  • Grocery shopping and meal preparation
  • Cooking and Baking
  • Learning how to maintain and neat and tidy home
  • Budgeting
  • Time management and organisation

Our Life Skills Program encompasses a wide range of activities that focus on building capacity in each of the above key areas and is offered utilising a person-centred approach; this ensures each part of the program is customised and tailored to suit participants’ individualised NDIS goals and desired outcomes from the STA experience.

Mindfulness and Balance – Exploring Healthy Living:

Our Mindfulness and Balance Program is designed to specifically address the need for a recharge and offer participants some capacity-building strategies to incorporate into their own daily lives; these strategies aim to offer opportunities to encourage, motivate and adopt healthier approaches to lifestyles that we hope will benefit participants physically and emotionally. Examples of activities we will be offering during this program include:

  • Mindfulness activities like yoga and gentle stretching
  • Gardening and related activities such as making your own succulent creation
  • Nature and/or beach walks
  • Arts and craft such as in-home paint night, air clay building, etc.
  • Planning and preparing healthy meals
  • Self-care pampering (facials, mani-pedi, etc)

Building Skills Through Board Games:

We’re combining our two greatest passions into one with this program! Over the past few years, we’ve come to realise and appreciate just how wonderful the world of modern board gaming is. As we’ve immersed ourselves into this medium, we’ve experienced many positive benefits and we want to share these with NDIS participants, as we can identify the following goals and skills that can be achieved through board gaming:

  • Increasing social skills through positive interaction with others
  • Meeting new people and making some positive connections with others with shared interests
  • Developing problem-solving and “planning ahead” skills
  • Enhancing fine and gross motor skills through dexterity games
  • Working collaboratively with others through co-op gaming
  • Taking a break from any daily life stressors and escaping into the magical world created by modern board games!

With a library of over 450 modern board games available, our Building Skills Through Board Games program promises to be fun-filled, dynamic and engaging throughout the entire STA experience!

Do you have any NDIS goals/interests that you’d like to work on with us that aren’t listed within our programs? Not to worry – we are happy to work with you to develop a customised STA Program that will meet your goals and needs!
