Our Approach

We are Person-Centred: The people we support are at the heart of all the planning and decision-making involved in achieving their goals. We invest in getting to know people: their interests, their strengths and their needs and help them identify what is important to them and what they want their supports to look like.

We promote and advocate for inclusion: People with disabilities should always have the opportunity to be included in their community as valued and contributing citizens. We don’t believe in segregation or that they need to change their behaviour or interests to “fit in”. We help the community welcome the people we support as equals via a strong focus on capacity building and through the formation of natural relationships; this is the key to success.
